Time MIC Gets Back Two Full Ministers – Sivaraajh Chandran

Its time Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak reverted back to the pre-2013 situation where MIC had two full ministers.

Originally, during the time of Tun Abdul Razak as Prime Minister, MIC had two full ministers.

But that was lost and when his son Najib took over as Prime Minister, he promised two full ministers and delivered.

But MIC loss one during the crisis that hit the party in 2014 with two MIC’s – one under Datuk G. Palanivel and the other under Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam – tussling to take control of the party.

The reason why we should have two ministers is because:

# The party is now united and under a single and dynamic leadership of Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam.

# The party had settled all its problems and is gearing actively to battle the opposition in the forthcoming 14th general election.

# The rebels have all return to the party’s fold and working well under the new and more energised leadership of Dr Subra.

# Reverting back to the pre-2013 situation with two Ministers will make the MIC stronger and help solidify Indian voter support behind the BN.

# The Indian community also welcomes two ministers for the MIC and now that its crisis is resolved and the party is back to an even footing, MIC Youth strongly recommends that the MIC is given its due two ministers posts.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had tweeted earlier that cabinet vacancies would be filled soon and we take this opportunity to urge him to consider two ministers for the Indian community.
