MIC Youth
MIC Youth is a wing of the Malaysian Indian Congress, targeted at recruiting capable Indian youth. Most of the members are young professionals, graduates and entrepreneurs. MIC youth provides an avenue for these capable individuals to contribute to society at large, and the Indian community in particular.

Wanita MIC
Womens Wing works hand-in-hand with MIC with the common goal of upgrading the overall standing of Indians in Malaysia, starting with the Indian women. PuteriMIC,is a wing of the Malaysian Indian Congress, MIC, targeted at recruiting capable Indian youth. Focusing the areas of education, entrepreneurship and social betterment. Puteri MIC works hand-in-hand with MIC Women Wing with the common goal of upgrading the overall standing of Indians in Malaysia, starting with the Indian youngsters.

Putera MIC
To enlist young Malaysian Indians between the ages 18 to 30, to harness their energies towards socio-political action through Putera MIC , a network of young Malaysian Indians . To establish a strong network among community leaders to identify potential young people who can be enlisted into the Putera MIC.

AIMST UNIVERSITY

In 1025, Rajendra Cholan, the son of the Raja Raja Cholan, launched an attack and hoisted the Chola flag in the historical Bujang Valley. In 2006, Dato Seri created history in that same valley.

MIED & KOP DIDIK

In 1984, the MIED was founded and the study loan are given to deserving students. Since the number of the students studying overseas has increased Dato seri has established the KOP DIDIK Berhad which gives study loans to members who save at least RM 25 per month under its savings scheme.

Between 1982 and 1985, Dato Seri was also instrumental in collecting RM 4.5 million to purchase the Vanto Academy in Petaling Jaya.

YAYASAN STRATEGIK SOSIAL

On 26th July the Yayasan Strategik Sosial (YSS) was formed by Dato Seri to study and find solutions for the social ills that are faced by the Indian community. This organisation also conducts various social programs on behalf of a party and government.

TAFE COLLEGE

The Tafe College situated in Seremban and built on a six acre plot of land is another example of Dato Seri S. Samy Vellu's achievements. It was completed in 1990 at a cost of approximately RM 22 million with the aid of special grant of RM 8 million from the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed.

YAYASAN PEMULIHAN SOSIAL

The Yayasan Pemulihan Sosial was established in 2002 for the provision of medical care, educational aid for the poor and financial assistance for those who have lost their bread winners. YPS continues to contribute to the well being of the community.
